About me...
My name is Rodrigo and I currently live in Carlos Barbosa, Brazil. I started my collection in 2010 and since then I have been collecting samples in all beaches that I visited around the world. In addiction some friend help bringing me samples when they travel to different places.
About the collection...
I collect only samples from beaches. Usually I collect the sand in the region close to the sea water. After dried I store it in small plastic vials with about 7ml of capacity. All the information about the place and date of collection are stored in an excell table.

About this blog...
I'll try to include photos from all the samples that I have in my collection. Photos will be taken in (at least) three different zooms, where you can see the "whole sample" and closes from minerals and microorganisms that compose the sample. In the right column you can see all the photos separed by countries, too see it click in the name (orange colour) before the number in parenthesis.
